Maker Profile: Audra DeWitt

Audra Marie DeWitt is a dressage rider and trainer. At its core dressage is about development and balance - when practiced correctly it results in a willing, beautiful, and highly-trained animal who moves with the lightest of direction, in total harmony with their rider. Audra is teaching dressage to other equestrians, and is hoping to be a mentor for her students the same way that she was mentored. In this photo series Audra is pictured with Xeta, her own mare. My goal with these photographs was to capture the deep connection, love, and trust between the two.
